WorldWaypoint

Worldwaypoint is a free service to keep track of all your favorite places in any location of the world. Instead of lengthy explanation of how to get there just create a waypoint and tell your friends to go to the unique url on worldwaypoint.com or put the coordinates into a GPS machine to guide you along the route.

Export Waypoints

New Waypoints can be exported so you can conveniently use in your devices or applications. There are 2 types of data files; KMZ is a file used in Google Earth and Google Maps. See sample here , the other is CSV which is a comma-separated values normal text file. It can be converted to be used on Garmin GPS device using POI Loader. You can export tagged waypoints by select any tag from the left Tags menu or from Account > My then select file type on the upper right hand.

Trip Planner

Going somewhere ? It pays off to plan in advance. First search or create all your destinations. Then select create new trip from the Trip Planner menu where you specify the start date and end date. Then add destinations to your sessions. Finally click Print Itinerary to download your PDF file. Try this San Francisco trip to see for yourself
